CAD Layouts...

#1 Post by GirlyHandedDog »

Just checking to see if I can save myself some time... I've got a CNC router and I'm curious if anyone has done any CAD layouts for BFM designs? In particular I'll be building some DR-200's/DR-250's, Titan 48's, a THT and probabaly a TT.

Thanks!

You'd need approval from the owner to have anyone send you designs.

I own the entire catalog. If it's that big of an issue, I'll take a half an hour and lay it out. Just tryin' to save a few minutes.

I have exported the sketchup file to .dwg, however I'm not fluent in using autocad. You'd have to adjust for your specific material thickness anyway - there will be a good bit of trial and error. IOW, you're not likely to be able to lay out a couple of cabs in autocad and cut everything perfectly first try. IMO, if you're not doing more than 4 cabs then it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Nobody "owns" the catalog. We buy the plans giving the right to build cabs off them for your own use. That's the end of the rights.

They cannot be distributed by anyone but Bill. Anyone can sign up to this site and claim they bought the plans. Not calling you a fraudulent liar but you could be!
