Quick kudo's to the design- omni 10 content

#1 Post by crockettnj »

I did a bar gig sat night that was JAM packed. Lot of fun for all, and the bartender said we may set a record for sales. The owner tipped us... how often does THAT happen in this economy?

Anyway, I brought along my omni10.5's which are loaded with the non-recommended avatar deltalites.

There were a lot of musicians there, a bunch of guys who have and continue to jam with us. Probably 3 different bands, a total of 5 bass players.

I'm not the type to attract attention, but after the set there were LOTS of questions about those "funny white little cabs".

The guy running sound (not a soundman) said he had to put me in the mains in order to fatten up the bottoom end, but otherwise he said tone and volume were fine.

Guitar player told me again, of all of the cabs I have tried the past 3 years (thats a LOT!) he likes my tone through these the best.

Looking forward to my Jacks...

Thanks Bill

I use a gibson GB440, which is an offshoot of the AMP amps, and the predecessor to the Thunderfunk amps.

I am a huge fan of them. Lots of tonal control, great tone flat, plenty power to do what needs doing.

Awesome, I'm familiar with that amp. What about tweeters, if any, on your Omni 10?

The top cab has 4 melded but non crossfired tweets, the bottom is still tweetless.
