If he turns them up, hopefully we'll all be able to hear them

Re: New THT Build!
Oh yes, this thing does make bass.... I keep forgetting!
I'm going to run out of duratex. I think i'm going to move it to the basement anyway though and fire it up. Enough of the waiting...

Re: New THT Build!
By some miracle, I had enough Duratex to finish! Even some left over. It goes a long way if you primer first. Remember that. Ok, here it is, final side drying!!! It's going to the basement tonight!

Looks great. I was going to go with a black satin to match my KLFs, but now I'm thinking I might go with the Duratex.

Duratex is so awesome. I did everything in my sig with ONE gallon except the 20" titans and one side of the WH10Bryson wrote:By some miracle, I had enough Duratex to finish! Even some left over. Re: New THT Build!
Well, i've had it for a few days now. After battling a ground loop hum, I've got it silent. It sounds great. Effortless deep bass. I've taken it nowhere near max volume. The house shakes when this thing is playing low bass. It sounds great with anything I throw at it. My basement configuration is a little weird so placement has been tough. But it's working. Just sounds better everywhere the couch is not... ha! Anyway, it's great. Thanks Bill for the design.

If it appears to be lacking in the listening position, ie the couch, try the subwoofer crawl.
Put your sub on the couch, play stuff through it.
Crawl around the room until you find point(s) of good bass response. Wherever the bass sounds strongest, is where you then place your sub. Hopefully one location also works for WAF factor...
