I've always used my pinky to fret when it was appropriate, the hard part is to re-train yourself to use it instead of your ring finger after 30 plus years of using the ring finger.

The good people at Colorship Media have some designs going and I hope to see some renderings this coming week. With the holidays and all I am trying to be patient but I am eager to get the cabinets back and play them!

What material are they using? Vinyl wrap won't have the required durability.

Yes they are vinyl wraps - the kind that go on vehicles. I guess I will see how careful I have to be with them. Maybe I can have a clear wrap placed over them as an added measure of protection.

I've used vinyl wrap extensively. It's OK on a car, but I'd never use it on a speaker unless that speaker was going in my home to never be moved. You'll rip right through it in no time unless it's protected in transit with either a road case or a padded cover.

Interesting. I will have to see if we can put a clear vinyl wrap over them as well as added protection. Otherwise I will have to utilize a padded cabinet cover as you suggested.

On a separate note I saw the doctor at the hand center. They have ordered me scheduled for an MRI to see if there is damage to cartilage. I will know more toward the end of the month.

Hey Bill I have a question. I did a search but came up with nothing. If this has been asked before please forgive me.

Can a Simplexx 110 be paired with a Tuba 24? Had our first rehearsal today using old cruddy cabinets I had cobbled together from material I had laying around and I burned them up trying to keep up with the rest of the band. Before they went south the low-B sounded like mud and afterwards left me wondering about pairing a Simplexx 110 with a Tuba 24.

Thoughts, feedback, criticisms?

You could. The T24 plans show a 150Hz passive crossover that allows it.
