Hey cave

Glad you pushed and did not give up on the build

Keen to hear how your outdoor program goes with your BFM rig.

I like your 2 part grille. I have been thinking of doing something similar to my DRs, so it is nice to get an idea what it would look like.

Love it, the aesthetics rival some commercial cabinets. You've got me GAS'ing to build some.

I'm curious, have you flown these yet? I've seen your review set up where they were set up straight / flat fronted. I'm only asking because of the promise of the steel strip and bolted fasteners you show in previous pictures.

Have you had any stress calcs done on your cab steel work, and produced a supporting technical file? To what design code? My interest is in how manufactures prove tear out strength of combined internal-external steelwork fixed to cabs, from the loads imposed on them, and helping to produce a set of supporting calcs. If of course manufacturers have to pay for testing then that is where it gets tricky. And manufacturers need a willing insurer, etc, etc.

Am more than happy to take this to another thread.
