T45 Complete!!!

I never liked the corners either. And I'm the guy that had a T48 fly out of the back of a pick up while traveling at 60mph. Baltic birch, duratex, no corners. It was skint up pretty good in a couple spots, but still worked fine.

Wow, now that's a test! Reminds me of the old American Tourister luggage commercials with the 800-pound gorilla throwing the bags around and jumping on them. I will not be undertaking any such tests with my precious T48s. It's taking me longer to fill/sand/paint them than it did to build them.

PROBLEM!!

I am hearing some cone noise but only when pushing >30 volts. I think I mixed up my spacer rings from another build. I know the rings inner diameter is only out by 1/8" which explains why I would only hear the noise at higher volumes.

I think this can be an easy fix by using the correct ring on top of the existing one. My question is, is there any harm in doing so?

Otherwise, I was thinking of sanding down the inner edge of the ring to fix the problem. Any thoughts?

So long as the driver will still fit into the cab that's OK. Otherwise you'll have to chamfer the existing spacer.
