how do you brace the baffle panel without panel 7?

I haven't installed panel 7 that's how. We will have the braces put in once we get the speaker mounting holes finalized. That way we aren't trying to work in a cramped space. We thought before hand if this would impact future steps and didn't see any.

good thinking, I only ask because it seemed like your "access panel" was full width and I assumed this meant you were foregoing panel 7. I could only comment based on what I saw in the pics so excuse me if I came off rude.

No? Not at all. I'm glad you reminded me about that. It's been long enough I had almost forgotten it. I am just getting so antsy to get these done. I'd hate to mess up at the finish line.

Well my speakers finally came in last night. I have them here at the shop I work at, hooked up to an amp and as per the plans have them breaking in. They are wired out of phase to help cut down the volume a bit. Don't know though how much that is helping considering the whole shop is just vibrating to the sound of what sounds like a compressor. Tonight I will be finishing the cabinets and will leak test shortly after. I am onto the final leg of the journey.

You doing the break-in in the cab? If so, it's much quieter outside the cab.

No they are outside the cab. Not quite ready to put them into there yet. Will be later tonight. Forgot to mention that earlier.

If you use about 15 Hz and face the cones up on the bench, they don't make much noise. Just make sure any cooling vent holes on the back of the magnet aren't blocked.

I did the break-in for my four, 3015LF loaded T48s in-cab, with the access panels off. With 8 volts the entire garage was coming apart, so I had to lower it to about 6v, which resulted in the entire house making an "Ohhmmmmmmmmmmmm" sound. After about 8 hours of that, SWMBO threatened to set them on fire so I had to shut them off.

Smart move breaking them in outside the cabs. LOL!

Well tonight the boss and I snuck over to my dads shop after work and tested out one subwoofer by itself. We weren't even pushing it and it had things falling off the walls. I think I will be very happy that we built these. Thank you Bill for the awesome designs, and everyone on here for helping me make the tough decisions. (speakers, plug placements and everything else).

So Saturday was the first time that the weather has been nice enough and that I've actually had time to take them outside together and just run them. I wanted to see how these things do underpowered with a IPR1600. All I can say is wow. Up close it was almost enough to take my breath away. 50 Feet away I still felt it hitting hard in my chest. Forget just building 4 I want to build another 6.

I was talking to another member and he had told me to save a bit on the next builds that the Peavey Low Rider is a good substitute. Is this true? If so I can get those pretty much at cost at the place I work at. Thank you all for the help and guidance on this build.

Can't wait to start on the tops this summer.
