On a serious note, I live in the country, so I do all my testing outside away from the buildings. This way I can take accurate response measurements, as long as it's a dead calm day.

12 gauge is the wrong tool for the job. Crack the window a bit, set up your bench rest on the other side of the room, and hammer the birds with this guy: http://www.gamousa.com/product.aspx?productID=321. Sniper style.

That's how we harvest the urban bounty here in H-Town. The doves get fat around here, and cook up real nice with jalapenos wrapped in bacon.

I have to keep my gear in the trailer all the time. Done it for years. I do try to keep it in the shade in the summer when possible.

Just found that all of my 9V and AA batteries that I've been keeping in the trailer are dead. Bringing that tote inside during the summer from now on.

I pack my mixer and rack that has my tube preamps and driverackPA and subsequently all other "delicate" electronics last and roll that into a climate controlled area. Ohh and I take my amps in now too because they are type H and have digital electronic stuff on board too. The rest stays, even the speakers, just let them warm up before you run em or the glue and cones will give out. :cop:

Where are you located in Iowa?
Thanks for the reply (everyone else too).

I could live with hauling in the electronics and leaving the cabs. How long you let your cabs warm up before using them?

I am from Center Point, ten minutes north of Cedar Rapids.

Howdy neighbor, I am 2 hours south of you. Across the bridge from Keokuk, IA. My little brother plays in the Mudkats in CR.

Just a reminder to all the folks that keep there gear stored in there trailers. We have started to have freezing temps at night here in Ohio and its time to bring in the water based haze and fog fluids as well as the machines that they go in to the indoors. Also don't forget to take the batteries out of your wireless devices before the cold gets to them and they leak.

Soon enough I will build my dr's and I will be forced to making a trailer. it all will no longer fit in my chevy venture! with that I will try to build in a heater and maybe a/c, that I could plug in and keep adjusted to keep the temp to the outer edges of room temp. :chainsaw: :chainsaw: :chainsaw:
