A traditional wood glue carpenter will have to be re-educated to use PL Premium Polyurethane adhesive.
In the US, there is no substitute for PL with BFM boxes.
If the carpenter follows the plans, the box will work correctly.
If he uses his "years of experience and intuition" the box will probably wind up firewood.
