Ok, I'll have this printed up on the weekend, in the frame and send it to Chrissie

Yes, Everything Else would be best. Add a heading that briefly explains who Grant was and why he means so much to us here.

Well done. And sending it in a Genuine Eminence box, now that's attention to detail!

Thanks Keryn, very much appreciated
As are Grant's many contributions to this community over the years.

+100. LOVE the Eminence box as that extra, added touch. Hopefully his family gets the subtle reference!

Thanks so much for doing all of this! Are you much out of pocket for all of this?

I thought you guys would get a kick out of the wrapping, you're all very welcome, it was a team effort though 🙂

Just a few dollars for the frame and postage, nothing really though there mate, it was sons fee for all the alterations which nearly broke me 😁

Cheers Bruce. Good to see you're out and about too!
Seth wrote: Tue Oct 10, 2023 11:05 am Ahhh, that's cool Grant. Nice and clean mod. Well done. Noticeable change in sound?
Thanks Seth.
Change in sound? No idea, paint's still drying :)
After completing a modification to a bass cab he'd built, that was Grant's last and final post here, October 10th. Only fifteen days prior to his passing.

The previous month, in order to set the limiter to the same voltage for his entire herd of T39's, he replaced the BP102's in his narrower T39's with 3010LF's.

I can't help thinking Grant knew the end was near and that these last couple projects were intentionally done with purpose. I'm guessing someone special received a custom keepsake bass amp and that Grant set the entire sound system up to be as fool proof as possible and passed the system on to someone or someplace specific.

It would be a pleasure assisting with any questions about system setup here on the forum. Keryn, do you know where it all went? If so, would you please pass that message on to whomever? I'd appreciate it.

I don't know what is happening with his sound gear mate, I'd say Grant would've made sure it was put in the right hands, and to ask questions here.

The Rural Fire Brigade gave him an honour ride around town, and then brought his ashes in at the celebration.
