We could close the loop by shooting the abortionists

If you could somehow arrange for the abortionists to be breaking into a trailer full of sound gear, it would be double justification for the shooting.

...in that case you could call the trigger puller Rick O'Shea.....
....actually, that line could be a good theme for a song.

That's a jumbo digit clock that I built for keeping track of time/ cues on theater events.

It's hard to predict the future of course but I can envisage one where it will be prudent for a would be mugger to shoot first rather than the traditional "give me your money OR I'll shoot" because he doesn't want to take the chance that his victim might be packing heat.
I can assure you that both my wife and I are very highly trained and we both shoot once a week in good weather and at least once a month in the winter time. I have been called upon in several cases to be a range officer for our local concealed carry course trainer. I guess you can say that its my other hobby!

I'm a little embarrassed,

but also a little proud....
My wife outscored me by one point on our CHL shooting test.

I keep my guns away from my wife. She was brought up in soviet Ukraine. In their equivalent to our junior high school, the kids were taught marksmanship and how to disassemble and reassemble a Kalashnikov rifle in timed competitions.
I've seen her shoot before, and I wouldn't want to see her pissed off with a rifle in her hands.

She's good,Really good but not as good as me and she knows it
If you have one that has anger issues

or unusually strong monthly emotional cycles

its probably not a good idea to have her protect your trailer full of gear with a sidearm. It could come back to bite you in the @ss.

Nah, my wife couldn't care if she ever saw a gun again. I think that all came about when I shot a magpie out the dining room window with a 12 gauge. I didn't think it would be that loud with the muzzle outside the window; the window was only open a few inches.

And you wonder why she won't let you bring the PA into the house to test...
