Sure it can if you have a decent set of gates and a DM5 in your rack. Simply tighten the gates to act as switches and route them to the trigger inputs of a DM5 and pick your poison!Having read the posts, I'll throw this out - a poor drum sound can't be improved at the mixer or in a processing rack - no matter how many people line up to tell you otherwise.
Crank the crap out of it to drown out the ungodly sounding originals! At least the audience gets to hear decent drums!Cant fix a bad drummer though!
