After its cured a few hours it usually scrapes right out. You get it started with a chisel and they it seems to come out like butter. After 24 hours its a bit more difficult. Sharpy putty knife should work too, if your chisel is too sharp they like to get into the wood!

If you wait just a few hours--when it forms a skin and starts to puff out--it's really easy to scrape out with a chisel or anything with an edge, really, without sticking to everything.

Day 6, No pics, but just try to use your imagination

. I got all the pl squeeze out out of the mouth, and put the two cross braces in. I put the back two reflectors in too. For the empty cavity by the driver chamber in the middle; I added a panel before the sharp corner, mainly for cleanliness and aesthetics. All that is left to do is the access panel flanges, the outermost braces, the sides, and sanding/finishing before my weekend gig. Then comes the paint which I haven't even bought yet. The access panel will be going in with 10-32 hex heads as well as the drivers. I plan to countersink the holes into the ply.

Looking good. I was wondering though, on the imaginary 3rd pic, it looks like your braces are not in quite straight... or is it just a trick of the light?

Nope they are crooked. I thought it might give the cabs an abstract, hipsterish look

Day 7, Almost got all the final braces fabbed, They are all cut out I just need to round the edges over. The access panel flanges are in place, and unfortunately I wont be able to install t nuts due to the baffle panel being in the way in the back. Sad feels. Screws it is then. Hoping to get all braces in tomorrow, and the sides on. let it cure then the next day flush trim everything and load drivers in. Then install my 2nd gx7 into my rack and run voltage limiting. Crunch crunch crunch!!
Braces are just mocked up for now

Nice progress. Can you do a size comparison of one of those next to your T60 slim?

Sure, 11 inches is the difference, that and better workmanship.

Day 8, Got one loaded for the homecoming gig this weekend. I was hoping to get two done, but I didn't want to tear apart my subs and not get it finished and not have those two for tomorrow. I will post gig pics, as I have some cool stuff to show off

Oh man! I and complain about moving my 16" t39's
I feel for whoever will be moving those beasts around. But of course, once they're all ready to go and set up in the venue, I'm pretty sure no one will be complaining then. Nice looking cabs.

I know they aren't small but I gotta tell ya when crew moves around our 27" T60s they always comment on how easy they are to load and maneuver. The balance, light weight and well positioned handholds more than compensate for their size so anyone considering these should factor that element in
