Why does your V-Plate look better than my cabs?
Simple....here in Texas we have little woodworking elves that come in during the night and fix all the screwups!
They look like this -
Sometimes you can see their little bootprints in the sawdust the next morning.
Like Santa though, it's always good to leave a couple of cold beers and some chips and salsa on the workbench.

Hey, a handle, what a great idea! If it's not sapping any power, no drama. Vaporwood...mmm, yes please!

Adding a brace won't do anything noticeable but if the cabs aren't flexing, there is no need.
You could either add another sheet of ply to your VPlate or if you are worried about the 100% increase in weight, some strips of wood (maybe 3/4"?) with the ply running at 90 degrees to the top (are they called ribs?), should be enough to stop the flexing though they would be fragile in transport.
Glass fibre matt and epoxy resin sheathing adds massive stiffness to any piece of plywood, if one has it to hand. At the cost, it's not worth getting in, unless one is going to attempt a 6mm thick ply T30 build and sheath all thru, with 3012LF's. Would need to test stiffness of 6mm sheathed against 12mm BB non-sheathed. Oh dear, must stop!

Could you set a trap and maybe post a few of those little bastards over here please? I'll post over a real life chav in return if you want.

Good job, Keryn!
BTW, is that a single caster wheel cut-out?

Thanks Tom! The cut-out you can see is for the jacks which are mounted on panel 10, the castors are mounted to 12mm backing peices on the back panel, I wanted more ground clearance than the plans castor positions gave, to help save the finish over rough ground.
