Rendog, send me an email. All the titan kits come with 1 3/4 bolts. If yours are an inch, I'll take care of it. Although I don't know where they came from, 1 1/4 and 1 3/4 are all I stock.

Recex are hard to drive in a titan cab, unless you have

and still not very easy.

Plus I think the subs should have bolts.

Thanks Phatman...."these should have been in your kit"

The box from Leland was in a room away from the garage, so I walked in and grabbed a bag with hurricanes and the shorter bolts in it. I didn't see the other bag with the longer bolts and hurricanes. I'm going to assume that the shorter ones are for the access panel.

Thanks Leland...yes it was in your kit lol

I have that tool, thanks. I purchased it at Sears.

Here's a pic of the shorter and longer bolts. Where do I place the washers for the spacer and baffle step?

I too was wondering why you were thinking about using the 1" and the wood screws if you had ordered the kit

But problem solved, now get back to building :)

The short ones are access panel screws. There should have been a screw chart (which I really need to add some pictures to) in your box describing which screws are used where. All the washers go on the long bolts.

So washers go on the back of the woofer?

What size drill bit for the Hurricanes?

Thanks Leland....that helped big time.

I cut the spacer and clamped it down against the baffle and drilled my holes. I then did what you showed in the pics from that other thread regarding the hurricanes.

Now i realize that i should have glued the spacer to the baffle first then drilled the holes?

That is what the plans specify. :wall:

I know Bill, totally my fault.

I placed the spacer on the panel, then used the long bolts and screwed them down a little. Next, I lifted the spacer up and put adhesive on the panel away from the bolts. Clamped that down and then let it dry and then used more adhesive on the ring. I made sure to keep adhesive away from the hurricanes.

Check out the clearance on this next panel, does it look right? It seems really close to the top cover opening but I triple checked the measurement on the side panel.

did you repair that chipout by the hole? Might be a bit much to ask of the gasket.
