Right, I was aware of that (and the 10.5 is as well, which is what I have). I just got confused when he said port tube, because I thought I had missed something as the port itself is only 1/2" long (thickness of the plywood)...hardly a tube :D

I'm talking about the back panel brace that straddles the vent port. It's a square-sided tube that sits over the port. Bill says it's not for tuning the box like a traditional port tube, it's just a way to give the back panel some support without blocking the port. I don't get any back panel vibration so I never got around to installing the brace.

I stapled PetScreen over the speaker throat holes and the port hole after that picture was taken.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up DaveK. I see that brace in plans; something not necessary for the Omni 10.5 so I must have skipped over it :conf:
