Moving along, got the tweeter array together and am planning on glopping on more acetone + plastic over the next couple of days. Starting to think about how to power these things....I have a couple of home amplifiers sitting around and a bluetooth adaptor. I'm thinking....some kind of eq or dsp thing (?) in between the bluetooth and the amp and I'm set. It's for the garage and judging by the spl charts I won't even be running 1 watt into the Otops (like maybe ever?) The dream would be to have a driveway party and some music...but again, the efficiency is so ridiculously high it won't take much power. And I live in a retirement community so blasting super high volume might get me kicked out of the neighborhood.
On the other hand, if there is an easy, effective solution for my garage needs, I'm not opposed to spending some money. I'm into "easy"!
I've got this little guy...maybe for the tops?

and this one...maybe for the Tuba45(s)?

and this for bluetooth

Looking reeeaal nice !
You’ll be rockin in no time

You mentioned Tuba 45. Have you thought about a driver yet? You might consider something a little beefier than that Dayton amp. I picked up a very nice used QSC amp locally for the same price, for what it’s worth.

Mr bzb set me up with two 3012lf drivers in the for sale section so I think I’m in good shape there. I already have the above amps from other projects….but I’m not opposed to getting more

OK so if this is in there apologies but what is the best way to attach the tweeter array to the array mounts? 4 screws in the corners or PL maybe? Is there any benefit to making the array removable?
Also...that acetone and cutoffs makes a weird glop that is pretty amazing. Dollop it on, come back in awhile and it's solid plastic. Crazy stuff!

Screws, at every other joint, otherwise they'll rattle.

Water cleanup!!! The roller looks new with just rinsing in the sink.
(I mean….I know you guys know this but I used truck liner on some sla’s a long time ago and was expecting something similar. This is way way way better)

I was amazed as you are. Totally worth the expense and if the cab is in black primer first the Duratex goes A LONG way.
1 gallon is gonna cover MANY cabs.

ha ha, downhill skiing, searching for the perfect carve. Although....I think the perfect carve might be on a snowboard. Here's a shot from last year....
