Where transient response is concerned I agree. It's not a matter of moving mass, because the electromotive force dwarfs mechanical inertia by at least a few orders of magnitude. Inductance could affect transient response, as that's an electromotive factor. But the whole notion of 'fast bass' is just so much piffle, while 'punchy' usually means high THD.
