Thanks, Bill. It's a shame they only say "professionally designed" and don't mention your name specifically. But it's awesome to see your stuff being employed in that kind of set up. And ...DAMN!!! That's a huge system!

My favorite option... Just keep piling up Titans or Tubas until the desired height is reached

I agree that it's pointless to build concert PA tops with no way to apply them. Honestly, that's why I stick to boxes I can stick on poles...Otop 12 and maybe DR200 in the future.
This has been discussed quite a bit at times, in a few threads, in the forum.
Yes, get your licence/sign off from a structural engineer. In fact, work with that same engineer right through the process.
Bill has never said these ( PA tops) can't be flown, he has said "you can't rely on the structural integrity of the cab to fly them, each cab must be wholly enclosed in a flying structure".
It's not impossible to do, it just has to be done right.
Not just for insurance and litigation. No one goes to a band or show or dance party or whatever, thinking they may be killed, injured, or otherwise harmed by falling PA.
It's a hell of a price to pay for a bit of fun.

Even cabs on poles require constant vigilance.
We did hear of a story of little Johnny who ignored their parents, knocked over a cab on a stick, and said cab landed on little Johnny...

Grant, thank you. And I agree entirely. If it were me I'd probably just stack them. Then again, if I ever had a NEED for DR300s that stance could change.
