Nice! Thanks for posting a pic and the details of how it's put together.. I thought about making my platforms wider...initially, I had them at about 28" wide, but decided to make them just a hair wider than the OTops. How much "rocking" motion do you get with yours? Looks like you're using the standard 1-3/8" tophats and the same Onstage stands I have. With only one OTop, the platform basically doesn't move at all. Once I put the 2nd one up top, the additional height shifts the COG and the whole assembly moves a little. Another strap pulling either the rear or the front of the platform "down" would solve it. But, with two straps around the whole assembly, it's not going anywhere. I'd rather just not see it move at all.

miked, I used
these eyebolts and 1/4-20 T-nuts at the outside "corners", about 2" from the front and rear faceplate of your platforms. Paint them black so they "blend in" and use them to hold your OTops to the platform, and the platforms to the stand legs, if the need arises.

Thanks, DJPhatman. Because my platforms are sealed up, I'm sort of limited as to how I can attach anything. I know there are screw-in eyebolts, so that's an option. I might be able to remove the tophats and get a finger far enough into the box to hold a tnut in place enough to thread the eyebolt in, and pull it into place. IMO, that's much more preferable than the screw-in eyebolt option.
Not sure how much more secure eyebolts would be be vs. just using racheting cargo straps around the whole cab/platform assembly though. It's good that I've got options though! My other two stands arrive Friday night. I'll have both stands setup in the backyard this weekend. Need to test it all out before getting the rig surrounded by dancing, drunk people.

The only wobble I have is from the stands and the beefy Ultimate stands I just got have very little wobble. Now it's just a matter of the slack in the 1 3/8" extension that pops out of the center of the ultimate tubing. It's a little smaller than the shaft of the onstage stands.
