Important point I forgot: the speakers were underpowered. I'm still using a Crown XTi1000 for all of it. I measured 35 volts with the -3db limiter engaged. Since I wasn't using the extra excursion, it may have been similar to using BP102's. The subs were 24" and 29" wide.

Good info, thanks!
35V would be the BP102's maxed, so that's a great indicator.
I should have some headroom with 4 cabs...

In-between work and the farm I've spent a few hours cutting up all the blanks for the 2 new cabs and ordered drivers.
Started cutting the roughs down to true size, panels 2 and three only.
Man this seems a breeze after working on my DR250 build.
Best be shutting my mouth lol, build hasn't actually commenced yet...

IIRC my last 2 T39's cabs seemed to take forever and did. I built one at a time
This time I cut everything up and built the new 2 side by side.
After 11 hours on each cab since the first pencil line cutting up all the blanks, I'm up to here:
Only wire to put in from the chamber before I put the final side on, then the other panel 7 and these cabs are done...

Yes, but now you know it all!

Cheers Tom,
If I knew half of what I think I do I'd be downright dangerous
Thanks Harley and Pulseman. SWMBO reckons I'm far to much of a perfectionist.
I do like to think that reflects in many things in life I do...
There ya go, I couldn't remember exactly, but right there, 1st post page one, 3 days per cab to end build. They would have been 8 hour days or longer.
I think the build efficiency is highly increased when doing more than 1 cab at the same time...

Right,
Both sides are on. Slight hiccup, one side I had initially cut was out by enough to pull the bottom panel into a bow if pulled up with clamps. 1/8" makes a difference sometimes. I cut up a new side and all problems solved. For whatever reason, side by side they look no different!
All edges trimmed and routed.
And all holes are bondo'ed/bogged/filled/whatever and sanded.
So I'm up to 12 hours per cab.
I'll burn in the drivers tomorrow. Other than painting and corners, these baby's are done...

Grant, hats off to you Bro, you are one busy man at the moment! And still putting out great looking cabs
I'm getting really sick of reading your build threads!

Just joking, I'm really looking forward to seeing some WH8 pics. You really know how to make a BFM fan jealous!

I was just gonna slink the W8's in lol. I might be tempted to do a build thread.
I'm a man on a mission. 5 weeks until a festival I'm doing sound for. I want at least 2 weeks of testing everything, if needs be, to the limits...

Drivers run in today for just over 12 hours; 30Hz @ 9.66V.

These and my DR's have taken priority over the W8's ATM.
They need to be done so I have time to test and setup before my big gig.
I can borrow/hire monitors if needs be, though I would like the W8's there.
Progress:
Cabs all sanded and routed.
2nd coat of Rockard drying as of now.
To go: 2 coats on each cab of the bottom, install corners, and NL4 sockets, install drivers and access plates, install 5/16" T nuts for V plate then these are done...
Speaking of the V plates.
I had some 5/16" plastic handled bolts from my lighting rig. No worries I thought. Bought some 5/16" T nuts (I was going to do the V plates a la Bruce Weldy, but I'm running out of time to cut steel up and weld on nuts).
Turns out the T nuts are UNC and the bolts with plastic handle are UNF.
Out comes the UNC 5/16" die, ran it over the 5/16" UNF thread. A tiny bit wonky when done, but it's not a like my life depends on it. Should pull up firmly though...

All painting done, corners on, NL4 plugs inserted.
So, time to leak test:
The amp is an Aussie made "Audio Design" brand (Brisbane, now defunct). Not high in power but perfect for breaking drivers in and leak testing.
First cab (which is actually T39 no 3) passed leak test so:
Access cover on
Cab 4 failed the leak test at 12 o'clock.
Driver removed, hot melt glue in the deficit (which I didn't see for looking)
Passed leak test, access cover on.
Cabs 3 and 4 done.
Add 1 & 2 and you get:
Essentially, as cabs, these guys are done and dusted.
Told you the little buggers multiply!
Be damned, I can't believe the lil fellas all line up height wise
BTW, cabs 3 and 4 are on the left, cab 3 most left...
