Haha I think I have a picture of similar. We just grabbed everything in the garage and piled it on top. You have to be sure it's being compressed.

Alrighty... It engulfed my garage in a 30Hz tone that shook the doors, walls and lights all while sitting on the saw horses in the center of the floor. That's just ridiculous.

This has got to be the cleanest THT build I've seen here, it's just beautiful. 
From the description it sounds like you don't have any leaks, but I'd still check around the driver to make sure. Aquarium air hose makes a great "stethoscope" to listen for leaks, play a 20hz tone and the tone will be inaudible but you will be able to hear the air rushing out of the leak.
Are you going to finish it? I'd go as far to say it probably wouldn't need much finishing to be WAF approved, it just looks that good. Great work!

Looks very nice, congrats. Curious though - that's the first time I've seen a plate amp mounted into the chamber cover - is there any concern that the backwave could stress the plate amp? I guess it could be boxed in if that was truly an issue, but then it would reduce the volume of the chamber?

It wasn't at first.. The only leak was from a small gap in the amp's gasket which I filled with a dab of sealant. After moving it into the home theater... It's good I'm a bachelor.
So far no problems at all with the amp mounted on the access cover.

That's good Dub but be sure to carefully check the rca jacks and highlevel speaker inputs, etc. as they are usually leaky. That chamber has to be 100%.Dubwoofer wrote:It wasn't at first..
