I kept trying to figure out how to clamp it down while the glue dried. I figured that since I used hot glue to put the crossover in place, it would be strong enough for a light dowel (behind a grill). Plus, when I moved the coil in my crossover, it worked so well that I took up a layer of ply with the glue.

I'd be worried about how regular hot glue would hold up on plastic in the long haul. If it comes off at a gig, no biggie, we've been running without them for how many years now? If you can scuff up where it glues with some 40 grit, it'll hold better.

I used a dab of Shoe Goo on wooden dowels. Let it set overnight. So far, holding with a Kung Foo grip.

+1 - I've used hot glue a lot for various crafts and projects and have never had an issue with durability. I also mounted the plastic dowel diffuser in front of the melded array with hot glue. Was very quick and I think it will be fine. If I have issues with it falling off down the road I'll let you know

Update on my hot-glued dowels: One has fallen off. When I put them on, I could pick up the whole DR200 with it. It appears the being in the cold made it fall off on its own.
