those are pretty sweet
I'd probably go with black still, but I can totally see how white works.

No link, no opinion. And if it's Pyle there's probably no SPL chart to compare anyway.

No chart. That makes it a pig in a poke.

I'm afraid it's a Pyle of.....

If anyone know of an inexpensive alternate to the Alpha6, please share.

Basic modeling shows the Pyle not as loud and first hand experience I would say the Eminence is easily clearer and more articulate through the midrange and Vocals. Do yourself the favor and save up for the Alpha 6's.

Dayton PA-6. I've heard them plenty of times in a design very similar to SLAPro... they work a treat.

I chose them to go in the SLA's that are going in my church soon...

Those look interesting. I had not gone as far as comparing specs but I've been interested in building a small supplemental cab out of them. If they work in the SLA design, all the better. :-)

EDIT: Specs are close except Qms, which I don't think matters much. I would be interested in real-world comparisons. $20 a driver is a steal.

First one... PA6, not PK6. The PK might work, don't know... but the PAs sound quite good.

That's great!
I guess I will give them a try for another pair later on. I got the Alpha's from LeLand last week instead.

BZB, your white SLA pro's look fast as 8)

Could you help me out regarding how they are powered please?

I see that you wrote "XTi1000 & XTi2000 powered", but how? For each cab do they have a load of 2ohms? I'm very interested in the SLA's given there size.

Thanks for any clarification in advance

8 ohms each, the 6" are wired series-parallel (IITP).

I've run them on both the XTi 2000 and the 1000... but it doesn't matter much. You'll hear it if you start overpowering them. They're so sensitive you really don't need to put much power into them, anyway.
