xover, delay, limiter, EQ

i know that i can get an all in one package from DBX or Behringer, but i just can't afford one.
In my system upgrade i want to bi amp my dr200's, and i have a EV crossover for that, but it's only 12bd, and then I am out for a sub crossover. Not to mention that right now i am only working with a 44 HZ 12 db high pass on my subs.
Any ideas on, separate units i can buy here.
I guess i'm looking for crossover recommendations for a budget system.
Also is there a way to delay my tops without a processor? Is there some physical way or some other box that can do this job?

A budget crossover is the stereo Rane MX22.
The frequency range is 100 ~ 7,000 Hz.

Flipping a switch, you can do mono-sum tri-amping with this unit with a fixed sub frequency of 100 Hz.
L+R outputs below 100 Hz are summed to a third subwoofer output.
Stereo L+R outputs above 100 Hz are controlled by the frequency selection and Low/High outputs.

Rane is reliable pro grade gear and works well.
The MX22 is out of production, but shows up regularly on eBay.
Mine has never broken, but I'm sure it is quite serviceable by Rane.

The Rane ME30B is a 1RU 31-band equalizer. I own several.
There are several models, so be sure to get the "B" suffix.
IIRC, there are two models of the "B" unit also.
The others are MUCH older and out of date.

This can be achived by having them further away from the audience than the subs. Not very practical though.

There are external delay boxes, but by the time you've bought all that equipment, you could have had a DCX2496 and maybe even a DEQ, or a DriveRack PA or PX... the system processors aren't that expensive.

Save your money, sell the EV crossover, and spend the money for the DCX2496. With patience and perseverance, I found mine on E-Bay, brand new, for under $200 shipped!

1 rack space, and it does everything you need, plus a bit more.
