My Omni 10 and Omni 10.5 Bass Stack

#1 Post by jswingchun »

I realized I never posted a finished picture of my Omni 10/10.5 stack. I really like the cabs, they sound good, look good and are easy to carry. I only wish that I had built the O10 as two O10.5s. I really like the one handed suitcase carry of the 10.5.

I want to make one more O10.5 so I can have a four speaker stack. My other thought would be to start over and build 4 Jack 110's with a melded array in the top one and no tweeters in the bottom three. That would be schweet.

Ashdown preamp, Crown XTI-1000 power. 69 P Bass.

I can't hear them from mid-Missouri but I agree that they look good. Nice work! Not a bad bass. either...

Thanks. I got the bass for $75 back in the mid-nineties. It paid to have a bandmate who worked at a music store that took in trades...

Wait, that's an original '69 P-bass?
Man. Jealous.
I can build the cabs, but you win on the bass. :D

Yeah, but like an idiot when I got it I swapped out some parts. I gotta dig them out of storage and put it back to stock. Stupid :wall:

Thanks. I built these before the Iowa legislature passed it's silver tweeters law so they got grandfathered in. :D
