How to paint diffraction horns?

#1 Post by dug dog »

So, I finally got off my butt and started building. Got about half way through a Jack 110 yesterday and am just about ready to build the diffraction horn. I'm wondering if anyone has advice about painting the horn. It occurred to me that it might be wise to paint some of the bits before assembly- maybe paint the horn and diffuser separately before connecting the two. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll have access to a spray gun. What methods have worked for you guys?

Thanks.

Hey dogger, nice to see you making sawdust. I hope you realize how addictive this can become?

I've only been hummin' and hawin' since January! Still haven't decided what to do for a big rig, but I knew I wanted a small grab and go cab and figured the Jack would be just the ticket. Ordered a deluxe kit from Leland last night and it's already in transit. As for the addiction, I'm nervous. I need to sort out the difference between "wants" and "needs".
