Baltic Birch - S Manchester / N.E. Cheshire

Illingworth Ingham: Stretford, Stockport, Hyde and Macclesfield. http://www.iitimber.com/

While there's nothing on their web site to indicate that they can supply BB, I gave the Macclesfield branch a call and they came back next day with specification and price. 3 days later they called to tell me the wood had arrived.

at £50 (incl VAT) for an 8X4 sheet, its not cheap but they pre-cut it for me at no charge and it looks very good - 9 ply, no knots and no visible voids.

That's about £5 more expensive than I paid locally for top rate BB.
Built:
6xDR200, 2xT39, 2xT48, 2xJack110, 1xOmni10.5, 1xAutotuba, 1xT18, 1xSLA Pro, 1xW8, 1xW10

£2.50 per cab extra - I suppose i can live with that.
Thing is, i've had a real struggle trying to find anything around here. I've tried quite a few only to be told that they don't stock it, or they'll only sell me a pack of 12 sheets.
I've been told by some that they'd get back to me but never did
I've even been asked to explain what I meant by Baltic Birch Ply!

With Illingworth's they seemed to be interested in providing a service and its only 20 mins drive so if i'm paying a bit over the odds then so be it.

At least I can start my Jack 110's now.
