Behringer CX3400
Behringer CX3400
confused about how to hook up a crossover, specifically the Behringer CX3400. i noticed that it has three xlr outputs for each channel "high, mid, and low". do i have to hook up the "high and mid" to my amp that controls my tops? and the "low" for my subs? do i have to buy a slplitterr or something to plug "high and mid" into my amp?

Re: Behringer CX3400
It has 3 outputs so you can biamp your tops if required. I will make the assumption that you are not biamping tops. In that case you will only hook up low to your subs and mid to your tops. just make sure your lp filter is set to 20khz on the mid.

DR 280
Wedgehorn 8

Re: Fig 2.2 ( page 7 ) in the manual
I'm guessing you should engage the switch for 2 way operation
( My CX2310 functions in that fashion )
