Here's a request for the jigmasters out there. I use these corners.
They are made for 3/4" wood, so need to be trimmed a bit off on the inside for cabinets made from 1/2" ply. Any suggestions for a simple jig to easily trim a number of these corners consistently?
I don't trim mine either on the Tb bottom right that I built and T-39 front bottoms.
I feel if it looks trim it will not look good so I leave it alone.
But if I had to and there was no other option than I would use a hack saw in a miter box and if I had many I would use stops in the miter box.
For larger cabs I wouldn't bother either, but on an O10.5 it just doesn't look right to me, and the back will not go off. I will post a pic once the cab has some paint on it (it would have the first coat right now, but it started raining exactly when I had everything set up outside in the garden).
I hadn't thought of the miter box, add a stop and clamp the corner to the miter box, that might just do it. Thanks for thinking with me.
Anton, IIRC you have a router. Use it, with a bottom bearing pattern following bit to trim off the excess. Finish the corner with a sharp knife.

Sorry to resurrect this thread - but it came in handy and now I have questions
Do you guys use PL on the corners, as well as the screws, or just the screws? Especially on these corners, such as in the Titans, that will only have screws on one side...
