Rumbling 39's

#1 Post by Scott Brochu »

I had a show last Sat not bad turn out, 150 could of done better.

Anyway I have to tell you I had 2 T39's Delta12lf, 20" wide V ed and coupled with a folding table,(not recommended) and half a side of a Euro Behringer 2500 amp.
Amp was turned 3/4 up and the dance floor shook. Rumbled so much that they asked for us to turn the bass down.
I almost cried (inside) with proudness. :loler:

Anyone that is thinking of building these subs for a band, I feel these Titans are the way to go, COME ON! 2 12" speakers rumbled the floor beneath about 70 people dancing. I have never felt so much power at my drum pedal :loler: in such a small package
Drumming is a way of life.
ME LIKE TO HIT THINGS!

DaveK and I measured his pair of T39, v-plated with a folding table.
As you found out, it works just great.
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.

Fun, ain't it?! I felt the same with my T39 14"/BP102. Now that I've sold those, I'm about to do a pair of T39 20"/3012LF. Can't wait! :loler:

When I get a bigger vehicle (probably never). As I've seen stated so many times around here, pack space dictates what you build. I measured, and I don't have space for T48's. I want to build my T39's 22" wide instead of 20", and I'm going to double check the measurements, but I think I'm stuck at 20". Plus I don't really need anything that big at this point (although it would still be fun to try them out just for the heck of it).

Outside of your marriage, the extra 2" won't buy you much.

Don't forget your plastic corners add significant width to your total pack space.
Allow some slop, so you can get them out without requiring a shoe horn.

I have to trailer my rig, no matter what.
Because the T48 fit just as well as T39, I went over to the Dark Side to build Death Stars...

I've been cutting BB for the last 3 days, just finished up.
My trailer is full of neatly cut 27.000" wide internal panels, plus the backs and sides.
I'm doing an assembly line on these, so tops and baffles are next.
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.

I made the mistake of eating a big lunch before cutting more wood.
Wow, was I stuffed...

Working outdoor is hot work, so I wiped my face with a napkin and kept at it.
I was rooting for the home team as the pile of cut panels got bigger.

Isn't language a grand thing?

We normally avoid doing that outdoors in the hot sun.....
