Has anyone ordered their reflectors from Speaker Hardware? If so, my question is: are they sold individually or in a set of 4?
Thanks,
Ross

The description says "For 1 cab."
Leland should probably change that to: "Priced per set. Each set includes enough reflectors for one cab."

Thanks for the quick response Tim. Cutting PVC like that just seems like a dangerous operation, at least with the tools I have available.

I use them. I really hate cutting it. You may still have to trim for length, but that's nowhere near as hard as the rip cup.
Both of Tim's products, the fillers and the reflectors are huge timesavers.

I debated buying a bandsaw just to make the rip cut a little safer.

Bandsaws are nice to own, but if that's the only thing you're going to use it for you can buy a whole shitload of refelctors from Leland for a lot less. A bandsaw with enough throat (4" +) to rip the PVC will be $200 for a cheap one. That's enough reflectors for 24 cabs!

True enough. I would use it for other things. If nothing else, once I have one, I will "invent" things to cut with the band saw.Tim A wrote:Bandsaws are nice to own, but if that's the only thing you're going to use it for you can buy a whole shitload of refelctors from Leland for a lot less. And, a $200 bandsaw is still cheaper than an ambulance ride & emergency room co-pay...

Re: DR Reflectors from Speaker Hardware
Another good reason to buy them. I devised a very specialized jig that is not only safe, but guarantees two straight cuts exactly 180 degrees apart. It works very well, but if I weren't doing them en-masse it wouldn't be worth owning.SoundInMotionDJ wrote: And, a $200 bandsaw is still cheaper than an ambulance ride & emergency room co-pay...![]()

That's the hard part. I have a bandsaw that will do it, and it's still a pita.Tim A wrote: but guarantees two straight cuts exactly 180 degrees apart.
