Helpful hints on how to build 'em, and where to get the stuff you need.

I grabbed the source for Cutlist 3.41, compiled it (then tweaked it) for the quad T48 layout.

I'm planning on using BB for the externals, and Arauco for the internals.
I normally use BB throughout, but weight and price are a consideration this time.

After much fiddling about, my 28" wide project is better served using 5x5 BB externals for less waste.
I need ten 5x5 and three 4x8 Arauco sheets for the four.

Q: those who use Arauco, is it suitable for baffles and spacers?
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.

Auraco is fine anywhere you would use BB. BB panels are denser and will take more abuse than Auraco and show the damage less. I like BB for driver spacers, but mostly because it's nicer to work with and the weight difference is negligible.

For my T48s, I use a BB equivalent for the top, bottom, sides and panel 5, Italian Poplar ( very light and strong ) for the internal panels and driver spacer and NZ Pine ply for the braces.
