Hello everybody,
it's been a while since I was here. We've been playing with in-ear monitoring so there's been no need for any sort of cabs lately. However I just got a 100W Trace Elliot bass amp and I'm going to build two Omni10.5's as cabs. I've almost decided to use 2015 drivers and now I'm searching for piezos. I've found quite a lot of them with quite a different prices. I know at least some of them are just crap. How can I tell the difference between them before ordering? I'm from Finland so I'd rather buy them inside EU. Here we have CTC 1016-piezos for 9 € a piece which I find quite expensive. I've also found Goldwood brand and a lot of nameless piezos from eBay.de.

Good to see you again, Marko. I'm still enjoying your DR250, although I'm also making a pair of Omni10.5's. Post some pics of your build (you'll be done before you know it, O10.5 is easy after DR's).
See if you can order from CPC Farnell in Finland, they have good piezo's. If not, send a PM to Reiner at this forum, username Sabbelbacke. He lives in Germany and got me a shipment with good piezo's some time ago. He can get you cheapo piezo's as well if you need some to practice cut&glue, or if you want to try different brands of glue or whatever. Better do that than waste good piezo's while adjusting your jig. He has hardware for cabs too, if you need any (grips, corners, pole mounts, dishes, connectors, that sort of stuf).
Thomann.de offer good prices on Deltalite 2510 drivers, and their shipping rate in EU is cheap. They have Warnex if you fancy a Duratex like finish. No good for piezo's (they have some, but very expensive).

nice to hear you like the DR. I noticed that Thomann has nice prices, I'll propably place an order for drivers and hardware. I just sent a PM to Sabbelbacke. I hope he gets it, looks like he has not been very active on this board lately.
