This is a DJ event that i did here a couple of weeks ago with about 600 people there. The stage was too low to v plate the cabs so I just set them 6 wide. Front of house was about 75 feet back. The sound was nice and full and as the night went on I pushed the the faders a little harder. These things perform. I have a total of 10 of these but that is still an odd number so I need to build 2 more. They were driven by as follows one pair-QSC 2502 bridged,onepair-2402 bridged and one pair 1850hd bridged with the 1850 sounding the worst of the three. The DR 280's had 2 PL 236's on them and they work wonderful with these as these are the only amps I will use on them. The top two 12 piezos a piece and bottom cab melded array. The tubas are about 1.5 years old and are used Every single weekend with no failures to report. They are 28 inches wide loaded with 3015lf .They are Duratex coated except for 2 which are Polane coated with a smooth coat (just havent had time to build more or repaint these with the rough coat). This rig and the full rig have done numerous national hip hop and rnb acts will post some pictures of this weeks national events this week some time. Another compliment for the grilles - love it, inspirational. Spent half an hour pulling cups and bottles out of 8 CV L36s the other day, something I'd rather avoid when I get my T39s together!

Do you get any air noise or "screen noise"??

No I do not get any noise from them at all its actually very transparent as I use these on all of my cabs to get that pro look. I use them on my BFM horns, Labhorns and custom double 18 clamshell subs that I have . They do the most good though on DR's because most promoters around here listen with their eyes instead of ears.
