I've got a couple questions on your DR200's. Is that a handle on the back? How well does that work and what did you use? Also, how did you secure the second DR200 on top of the other on the pole?

Thanks

I was curious about the handle too. Closeup shots?

The 'handle' is a piece of pipe, it serves 3 purposes. First, it's a lousy handle, not enough finger clearance. Second, it's a wire chase for the Speakons. I mounted one at the top and one at the bottom for daisy chaining. Third, it's an anchor point to wrap a strap through which goes to the second question....

The cabs have bolts w/wingnuts through the top/bottom at the mouth. The rear is secured with the aforementioned strap, and there's a spacer between the cabs. You can move the spacer forward and backwards to adjust the angle.

Tim A wrote: When the cabs are stacked like that they are a short line array, about 1 meter. Not much help in the mids, but by the time you get to about 3kHz there is some nearfield advantage out to 35-40'. As such, the tweeters aren't creating hot spots, nulls, or combing, they're coupled together and operating as one.
I'm curious, what happens when stack you four of them? How exactly do I calculate this based off line array height? Thanks!
