Helpful hints on how to build 'em, and where to get the stuff you need.

I documented my ARTA measurement (FR and impedance) setup at http://zobsky.blogspot.com . The demo version is fairly functional. Be warned, ..laptop soundcards are often crappy, but I use a desktop for most of my measurements .

How would I feed the XLR analog output of an ultra-flat RTA mic into a USB port that any of these programs could use? I'm looking for simple RTA capability on a PC, like a USB RTA mic or a USB-to-XLR adaptor. (Maybe a USB sound interface from M-Audio, etc?)

I'd rather not haul the small USB mixer with me to every gig.

(I mix with a large analog board, typically Yamaha MG3214 or A&H GH2200)

Get a small USB audio interface from M-Audio, Edirol, etc.
