Hi folks...I have been plugging away on my first build, 20 inch T39's. Its going OK, bit slower than what I wanted but learning the tricks of the trade as I go along.
I have now got to the point where some of the braces go in. I am not using dados. Are there any tips on fastening and gluing?
Do you fasten both sides, or just one side? If the braces line up in the vertical plane it would not be possible to fasten both sides so I imagine I just mount one set slightly off set to the set above or below and can then get access for a screw or two.
Finally the vertical braces from the base (10) up to panel 6. I guess that it is not possible to fasten where they join panel 6 (apart from glue) unless the braces betwwen 6 and 4 are going in at the same time?
Any tips and hints?
Cheers
Ollie

Any method of fastening, whether it be off setting or whatever, will be sufficient. If you are using the recommended PL adhesive and everything is fitting snug, just let it dry and all will be good.

PL both edges, install a minimal number of fasteners on one edge to hold it in place until the PL sets.
