This is replacing a 4 way direct front loaded system which included 2 stacks CD Horn 10" mid 15" low mid and 2 Dual 18"s subs.
With a 3 way system 2 OT212 and 2 Titan 48's
The first thing I like is the new system weighs less that half the old one and since I was able to reduce the Amp count the amp rack is about 40lbs lighter. The system was so small the guys in the band started giving me looks like are you crazy.

We did the RTA and started playing recorded music thur the system did a little tweaking by ear and the system started to come alive.
Started our first set and it took a couple of songs for Bill our sound guy to dial in the system. After that it was music to our ears

We have all veteran musicians in the band . http://www.tangentband.info/ Jeff our lead singer said this is the clearest PA he has ever used . Bill the sound guy commented that this was the first system that he has ever run the was so well defined . I am the Bass player and the one thing I noticed was how well defined my bass was on the lower E and A strings . This normally tends to get real muddy. And both our guitar player and singer commented on how clear the effects sounded. I normally detest effects because they tend to muddy up the mix but Bill's designs don't seem to have that issue. The system totally got rid of the low end feedback we would get when Bill would try to crank up the system in the room we played at last night. We normally play loud. Another thing that amazed me was normally at the end of the night Bill would have the main faders up about mid way. With the new system he had them at bout half that.
We also received similar feedback from the patrons in the bar.
I started this project mainly to reduce the size and weight of the system . In the end what I got was a whole lot more

I have only one problem . What do I do with the old system
