False corners ¿any one try it?

Helpful hints on how to build 'em, and where to get the stuff you need.

False corners ¿any one try it?

#1 Post by djwoo »

I just finished a pair of OT 12 and a pair of O 10.5 and they sound gorgeous, my previous gear was a Cerwin Vega Intense 2x15 80 lbs. each. and the omnis are a lot easy to move, but.... i miss bass, so i start a couple of tuba´s 24, so most of mi jobs are in gardens and open areas so the question is: any one has try to make a false wall i´m just thinking in two pieces 4x8 of particle board 1" to make a corner and put the tubas v coupled. This can be possible?

I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago. The answer is "not practically". The wavelength is too long from subs. See this thread: http://billfitzmaurice.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5509
