I did my first wedding friday night with my new speakers. The midbass snap is incredible coming out of the DR's. I had guest's telling me that they heard sounds in certain songs that they had never heard before. The bride is a musician and music teacher, so the comments were coming from expierienced friends of hers that have some degree of musical backgound. Whether you were standing 10 ft or 100 ft you didn't seem to lose any volume. The speakers are very crisp, very clear and can put out some decent bottom end for a small sealed enclosure. As the guests began to leave and the party goers remained, I started to stand on the speakers a little to see what I was working with. The sound quality NEVER distorted and sounded amazing. I still don't know how far I can push them because the Police showed up at 11:30. Great design Bill and the time that it took me to build them was definitely worth the wait.
