Is duratex available somewhere in Canada? I can't find anything around here.

True Duratex is only available by mail order, not sold in stores. But, AcryTech is looking for distributors in Canada. You should also check with Leland Crooks, one of the moderators on the forum. He has his own site dedicated to BFD speaker building Speakerhardware. He sells Duratex and, IIRC, he ships to Canada! :D

Neither are available in Canada. I had good results using Duplicolor truck bed lining. I purchased it from Canadian Tire. It gave a nice durable coat but is pretty volatile. You need to paint outside or in a well ventilated area.

Is the Duplicolor bed liner sold in spray cans only? It might available over here as an alternative for Duratex or Aldcroft's.

Acry-Tech will ship to Canada. They ship via UPS. UPS charges more in customs brokerage fees than Acry-Tech charges for the paint. If I got them to ship again, I'd try to sweet talk them into shipping via USPS.

Duplicolor comes in gallon jugs and in a spray can that I use for hard to reach areas.

FAR AND AWAY the best option in Canada other than Duratex or Line-X is a product called Gator Guard.

This is vastly superior to the Duplicolor products or similar variants of DIY bedliners. Duplicolor bedliner is worthless, I have had nothing but bad results, it doesn't get hard enough and wears very quickly.

Gator guard gets VERY hard and is super tough.
You can find Gator Guard at Napa auto parts locations. I got mine on sale for $50CDN. It usually is about $80 for the kit.

Highly recommended.

It looks tough...epoxy and all...but it also looks to be harder to do (or at least to clean up) and no less expensive than Duratex--even at CDN prices. $50 CDN is for 1.7 Liters of GG...whereas that same cost will buy a gallon of Duratex...So even if you double the cost due to shipping you come out about the same, no?

Being water based makes Duratex worth paying double for.
