SICA 10K3 10" Neo driver

#1 Post by Tom »

I've just seen this driver for the first time.

I thnk that SICA is the Italian pronunciation of Jensen.

Do these look suitable for any BF cabinets? Xmax and Fs look good
for horn loading, but I don't know if the Qes is appropriate.

The T/S specs are fine, but that only tells the story up to 300 Hz or so. An SPL chart is required above that.

The 12" driver PDF is on SICA's website:

http://www.sicaspeakers.com/12K3.pdf

The 10" driver PDF is here:

Wish I knew how to add a picture to a posting - do I need a seperate [IMG] URL to serve the photo remotely, or does this forum accept small image uploads?

My "HTML is off" option is set - does that matter?

The charts are OK, but not as good as 2510 and 2512. They could go into Tubas or Titans, but don't offer enough xmax to match BP102 or S2012.
