Hello Bill etal
My poor bro-in-law is suffering with a home theater system which includes upgraded laScalas for L-R, THTLP sub (tall version), in-ceiling surround spkrs, and klipsch rp404c center, driven by a Denon avr-x3500h with audyssey speaker setup. Altho the klipsch is claimed to be 97db efficient, the system is pulling the L,R, and sub down by12db to match the center output.
I am going to guess that you will suggest the 9 driver variant of the sla curved array?
Thanks for any & all assistance on this pressing matter. He does need a new project.
Which center channel spkr?

Re: Which center channel spkr?
Klipsch has been overstating sensitivity for decades; I'm sure that Paul is spinning in his grave while muttering 'bullshit'. Since the SLA has over twice the driver count it will be at least 6dB more sensitive, while the nine tweeters will bitch slap the single tweeter of the Kilpsch.
