I really like what you've done with the place!

#1 Post by telecast »

Wow it's been a long time! My profile says my last post was in 2007, not sure that's accurate, it also says I have 147 posts. I think I used to do that in one day!

Really cool to see Leland still here. Sorry to say none of the other builder's names look familiar to me. I do wonder what happened to Harley? Hopefully he just stopped posting and nothing serious happened. Looks like he was here last in 2016.

Hiya Bill! Thanks for sorting out the sign-in mess.

I see good old Photobucket deleted my photos. I still have some, I can try to restore a few. I know I still have the XF prototype shots.

Anyway, I'll poke around a bit. I have some Tuba 18 and TLAH questions.

Cheers!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Harly passed a good number of years back, maybe 10 or more years ago. Not sure if you remember Grant Bunter or not, he passed a couple years back too.

I think you were from before my time here. I'm Seth. Nice to have you back.

Harley's dad, Harley Sr, passed in 2012. Harley seems to be still around. https://wiza.co/d/windsor-engineering-g ... arley-dear

Thanks all for the welcome.

Sorry to hear about Harley's dad, but glad he's still kicking. We had a blast when he and his son came over for a visit. I took him to the Motown Museum. When the tour got to the studio, they offered to let people stand behind the mics and sing 'My Girl'. I really had to push to get him to go up, but we stood right in the spot the Temptations did and sang it with three other people. Probably embarrassed the hell out of ourselves but it was a hoot!

This story is probably recounted somewhere else in this forum, but so what, I'm old.

Thanks Tom. Stepped away from gigging amd pro sound, pretty much music in general. I think this brutal winter had me bored and I started thinking about my old album collection gathering dust. Got the itch to go analog and here I am.
