Going from ot12s to dr200s
Going from ot12s to dr200s
Hello everyone! Happy New Year. I recently picked up four dr200s with melded tweeter arrays, and I'm wondering if there's a straightforward way to convert them to CD Horns? And additionally, how low do you recommend running the crossover? I run my ot12s at 80hz and it helps remove some of the unpleasantness of the t48 in the upper range (preference)

It wouldn't be impossible, but it wouldn't be easy either. I wouldn't consider it.

I find that the tweeter arrays don't throw as far as the CD horns.commander_dan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 12, 2026 2:52 am May I ask why you want to convert them? Interested to see what you end up doing.

They're not supposed to. DR200 is intended for small to medium venues, where wide dispersion is more important than long throw. Horses for courses.
