Is there any way to scale the THTLP to 18"

#1 Post by uudo »

I currently have two GSGAudio MBM 18"s. Is there any way to scale the details to accomodate 18"s so I can re-use my B&C drivers I already have?

There isn't, 18s won't fit, nor would there be any advantage to them. A horn loaded 12 will beat a ported 18, by a wide margin.

Yeah, that logic made me consider a horn loaded 18 would beat out things less than 18? I listen to a lot of music and I do also watch movies and whatnot. I would like something crossed at ~27-28 ideally but I would love an upgrade to my current setup.

The TableTubas would be an upgrade, let alone THTLPs. The response and output of a horn is defined by the horn, not the driver, totally opposite to direct radiators.
