2 Jack 112s - 3012HO with melded array
2 Jack 112s - 3012HO with melded array
Started the build on a pair of Jack 112s with the 3012HO and melded piezo array. These will be for general use, but will spend most of their time in the small ballrooms of the event space featured in my T39 build thread. I went with the Jacks because they seemed the best fit for sub-less small PA with high efficiency. One of the "gigs" that these will be in is sitting on the bed cover of my pickup in a local parade in June. Not looking for main stage volume, but definitely want the music to be heard as we go by and I don't think the Jacks will have any issue delivering on that.

Thank you sir. The screw bar clamps at Harbor Freight are actually pretty good and are a steal.Keryn O'Shea wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 11:59 pm You have an impressive array alright!

MOAR PITCHERS
Sides, throat reflectors, phase plugs, and driver spacers installed. Plus, tweeter madness!

Mental note: when cutting the piezos on the table saw, WEAR EYE PROTECTION (I mean, wear it all the time anyway, but especially when cutting those). Sometimes the blade likes to spin out and then hurdle the screws at you at 5000 miles an hour.

Oooo, something tells me that you found out the hard way.

First time ever making a melded array. I was quite intimidated by this part and felt anxious about but they turned out pretty good!
