Hello Bill etal. The recommended DA rs390ho (ported) is unavailable until june. Can i use one of the pro sound drivers with the longer HT ports to get similar response?
Thanks

For Home Theater?
I'd give this guy a try.
Looks like it fits the specs and has a similar Xmax the RSS390ho
Plus, its less than half of cost.

From the plans for the HT version: To check other drivers for compatibility the T/S spec range is Fs 18-25Hz, Qts 0.35-0.55, Vas 150-330L, minimum xmax 9mm.. Pro drivers don't meet those specs. The GRS linked above does.

“The recommended home theater drivers are Dayton (www.parts-express.com) RSS 390HO for the ported cab, RSS 390HF for the sealed. If these aren’t available the ideal driver specs for ported are Fs 24Hz, Qts 0.35, Vas 100L, minimum xmax 12mm, impedance 4 ohms. +/-10%”
Do i have old plans?
