Amps, amps, amps, and more amps

ASHLY 1800's

I have two ASHLY pe1800's. One has DSP and the other does not. The DSP unit is able to pass through two separate DSP controlled channels to additional, non DSP amplifiers. I'm fairly certain the non-DSP unit is non functional and just parts. I'll double check both of them for an interested buyer. The integrated DSP offers Brick Wall Limiting, crossovers, EQ, and more and is controlled over an ethernet connection and PC. As far as I'm aware, the software (Protea) is only available on PC.

500W @ 8Ω Stereo (per channel)
900W @ 4Ω Stereo (per channel)
1400W @ 2Ω Stereo (per channel)
1800W @ 8Ω Bridged-Mono
2800W @ 4Ω Bridged-Mono
1800W @ 2Ω Parallel-Mono

w/ DSP $350 obo
w/o DSP $250 obo (assuming it tests out okay.)

ASHLY amplifiers are Made in the USA.

ASHLY ne8250pe

#2 Post by Seth »

I have four ASHLY ne8250pe's available. Two are "open box" never racked, never used, and never taken out of their packaging. I just opened the box to verify contents and they've sat on the shelf ever since. The other two are currently racked and work flawlessly. These amps are intended for installations and have Phoenix connections instead of XLR. I simply made some XLR pigtails and they perform as intended.

These are awesome amplifiers. 8 (yes, eight) channels and each channel has it's own individual DSP. So, one amp could run a sub, two mains, and 4 monitors if you wanted, and each can have it's own independent limiter, EQ, and crossover settings. DSP is controlled on a PC, amplifier is connected via LAN or direct wired connection.

8x 150W @8Ω
8x 250W @4Ω
4x 450W @8Ω (bridged)

Individual channel power is perfect for DR200's, WH6, WH8, and WH10. Bridged power is really well matched for SLA Pro's, DR250's, DR280's as well as T30's, T45's, T39's, T48's, and even T60's. All channels bridged could run a system of 2 tops (SLA Pro/OT12/DR250/DR280's) and 2 subs (T30/T45/T39/T48) up to their limit and would be quite the system out of only 2RU worth of rack space.

It could also be good for home theater or multi speaker outdoor/garden/patio or garage systems.

Units that have no box, have been racked, used, and work perfectly - $850 each obo
Boxed, never used units - $1000 each obo

ASHLY amplifiers are Made in the USA.

ASHLY ne800

#3 Post by Seth »

I have 2 ASHLY ne800's, both have the DSP on the two amplifier channels as well as independently controllable DSP on the two passthrough channels. So, you could put one of these on duty to power your tops AND also have full DSP control over the passthrough signal going to any other amplifier driving your subs. Completely eliminating the need for a dbx Driverack, Behringer DCX2496, or any other outboard DSP. The integrated DSP has the appropriate Brick Wall limiter required for horn subs.

2x 225W @8Ω
2x 400W @4Ω
1x 800W @8Ω

$250 each obo

ASHLY amplifiers are Made in the USA.

The two on the bottom...

Admark AD-430

#4 Post by Seth »

Sold

I bought this Admark AD-430 last winter. I don't know why I bought it. But, it's just so damn cool. It's four very powerful channels in a very slim 1RU chassis. Open box and in original packaging. I opened the box to verify contents, plugged it in to verify functionality, packed it back up, and it's sat on the shelf for the last 10 months. Unit is perfect. Never racked, no scratches.

4 x 3000 Watts @ 8 Ohms
4 x 5000 Watts @ 4 Ohms
4 x 7140 Watts @ 2 Ohms
2 x 10000 Watts 8 Ohms Bridged
2 x 13000 Watts 4 Ohms Bridged

It's a beast.

Sound Town ST-UPDM4C

#5 Post by Seth »

Sound Town ST-UPDM4C, another four channel amp in a 1RU chassis. I used this unit for a week or two. It works fine. Seems like it's power rating is definitely over stated. Still a nice, compact, solid feeling unit though. A couple scratches and it got splashed with water, which didn't cause any electrical issues and was promptly wiped dry. However, one screw is showing rust, so I guess I didn't wipe it thoroughly enough.

This unit would be great for 4 stage monitor mixes with 1-2 wedges per channel, a small 2 top 2 compact sub PA system, home/small pub karaoke system, or a multi speaker garage/patio system.

4 x 800W RMS at 8-Ohm Stereo
4 x 1400W RMS at 4-Ohm Stereo
Apparently it's not bridgeable

2x 450W @8Ω
2x 800W @4Ω
1x 1600W @8Ω (Bridged)

No need for a standalone system DSP with this amp. It has all the required functionality built in.
